ARCOPOL Platform has the following specific objectives:

• To compile relevant knowledge, information and resources and make them widely accessible to stakeholders;

• To promote the exchange of knowledge and experience, the identification of the technological offer and demand, and the development of innovative public-private initiatives;

• To map capabilities on oil and HNS spills preparedness, response and mitigation in the Atlantic Area;

• To identify gaps and needs for further research and technological development and inform national and EU research funding programmes.
