The Working Group on Environmental Monitoring is addressed to provide a collaborative framework for those organizations working on environmental issues related to oil and HNS spills, including topics such as monitoring, impact assessment and toxicological studies

The WG aims to share information, knowledge and experience, identify gaps, needs and priorities and promote actions and initiatives to address key challenges in these fields.
